This was my first real attempt at a SPN fanfic, and it was because the idea wouldn't leave me alone. It was actually kind of painful to write.
I'm glad you think I got the boys right, because I angsted about that for ages. There's nothing that puts me off a fic faster than if I find the boys out of character.
I kept the end deliberately ambiguous, but I think it works. I wanted to make it hopeful but not necessarily happily-ever-after, because that's just now how the Supernatural universe works. ;)
