See, I am intrigued by the fact that they are more or less presented as a couple of ordinary guys (well, more Dean than Sam, these days, but still) yet underneath the denim and grime and issues and do-gooder-ness they're these...I don't even know. Forces of nature? Entities? Whatever they are, in another series they'd be, like, sparkly and talk in iambic pentameter and never use contractions. If that makes sense.

That fascinates me.
