I know this is mostly about the relationship here, but I really enjoyed the references to Dean's alcoholism. Sorry, but I'm just itching for more fic exploring it, and I enjoyed the way you touched on it.

I'm always a little leery of heartwarming stuff, but this was enjoyable and well within the confines of realistic characterization. And it sort of subtly hints at the darker aspect of their relationship--their clinging to one another no matter the cost.
