Actually the part here that really interested me was this: in the light of day even this version of Dean —all of five years old but tough as nails and with eyes that have witnessed decades of horrors— is fiercely independent.
I want more of this! I want to see the angels show up and try to like steal Dean, or corrupt him or something, and Sam being all protective and scary, and Dean being this weird cross between screwed up adult in the body of a child and eerie child with too much knowledge...I dunno. Is it wrong to want these things?
I did enjoy the rest, too, btw, despite my leeriness of some de-aged kidfic. Some of it I do enjoy, when it's practical and realistic, and I thought this dealt pretty realistically with the circumstances. Nice!
