Random stuff

Still reeling about the news from the Pacific.

I know a fair number of my flist live in the countries that are under warning. Please be careful, okay, and check in when you can?

In other, much lighter news, I think this is my favourite review from ff.net so far, about 'Practical Application.' Here it is, verbatim, and yes, the poster used the punctuation exactly like that too:

read it and it isn't crap ,really like it.kinda sad and dean must really feel bad for all.and poor sam.

Thank you, dear reviewer, for reassuring me that my writing isn't crap. :) Naturally, it's a review without a reply link, although there *is* a username, so it's not entirely anonymous.

The tsunami touch-down in Japan is freaking me out a bit. I have a friend who just landed in Sendai (on one of those, "my whole life is up in the air so I am going to move to a foreign country to reaffirm my goals and purpose" sort of things).

Timing, could not be worse.

*trying not to spaz out*

No word on her condition or current location yet.

I'm just watching the news and I'm horrified :(

I can't believe that review O_o LMAO but I can definitely say that your work isn't crap! It's some of the most wonderful Supernatural fanfic I've ever read!

That's what the kind people of ff tend to say - "You're not crap" rather than "you're good"! The images from Japan are shocking.

gawd i luv commentz that r not crap.they have happy.gud writing, ftw!

And on a more literate note, seeing film of dozens of cars being swept away in the tsunami's aftermath is stunning. Makes my heart ache. I'll have to check out the auction.

This brings back awful memories from '04, when the tsunami was wrecking everything 'round these parts where I live. :( What's happening in Japan is horrifying.

The whole news about the earthquake and the tsunami are just so sad and shocking :/

But LOL that has to be the most constructive review ever ;) That really made me laugh, why would you tell anyone that 'their story isn't crap'?!

*whispers*
Cuz so much of what is on FF.net *is* crap that it is a true revelation to find something that is actually good.
