Thank every god in the sky, I've finally finished "Take Me Home." It was a beast, no pun intended, and the last couple of chapters fought me tooth and nail every step of the way. God.

Official tally is 29 chapters, 1 epilogue, and 51,244 words.

*collapses in an exhausted heap*


And now I have to write my challenge for hoodie_time (or, rather, finish it, since I started it in November... or was it December? I don't remember), and then the one for deancastiel which is due in March.

Oh, and then there's BigBang.

Jesus. Good thing I didn't take on too much, eh? :P

Congrats on finishing your story! The satisfaction when you finish a piece can't be compared to anything.

God, so much for you to do! I know, I still have my second hoodie time fic to finish too. And I'm feeling awful about this when you have so much to do, but can you still beta that fic I asked you about? Should be done tomorrow. Posting starts to the comm on Feb 14th, but it runs for a month and they haven't said if you just post when you're ready or if there's a schedule. Is two weeks enough time? I've never done this beta thing before. I totally fail at word count, because I don't have a program that will give me one. It's a two part fic about the length of Head Games. Still up to beta for me???

Okay, fair enough. I'm "late" on all my reading too. That's the problem with arriving in a fandom four-plus years after the start of a show: there's SO much stuff to wade through!

I think I may have to give up on any notions of "catching up," to be honest. There's just way too much fanfic out there, even for me. Besides, I kind of like to read *other* things too!

Relief, mostly, but yes, it is quite a feeling. I am very happy, because the last two chapters were a hell of a chore to get done. :)
