Yup: all those longing Cas-Dean stares have become known as eye-fucking! Isn’t it a hoot?! I’m all for the eye-fucking: might as well take advantage of four of the most gorgeous eyes in the galaxy. But I’m more for the platonic affection in regard to Wingporn.
Yup, Missy was a little red herring there wasn’t she? Because Woods is basically my re-imagining of Dean’s Hell ordeal, I fixed on Lee as Alastor [Missy = Lilith] so he did turn out to be the real bad guy. And as well as the Lee/Gabe relationship paralleling Alastor/Dean, it was also intended to be a parallel to the whole ‘brotherly betrayal’ vibe between Sam and Dean tail end of S4.
