Dean really DOES look pretty when he cries. Gah. Normally I'm not at all fond of crying men (there are caveats here, but I'll spare you the details), but apparently I can make an exception for Dean/Jensen. The 1-2 "manly tears" thing is... umm... yeah. I have no words. :D
I was really worried about this prompt, and I don't know what masochistic impulse drove me to pick it up, but in retrospect I'm glad I did. It was a challenge, especially finding a way to keep Dean in character while making him do something he'd normally never do.
"shields coming up" - was it wrong of me to immediately think Star Trek?
Not at all, I did that on purpose. I've be re-watching the show from the start, and it's riddled with Star Trek references. Lots of other pop culture stuff too, but Star Trek is an obvious favourite. :)
