I'm disappointed too. But the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Dean will always sacrifice himself, which is exactly what he's doing now because he thinks it's the only way. But he's so beat down, he doesn't realize the implications of his choice.

I just hope there's enough time for him to turn back, hopefully with Sam's help!
