Obviously, I am excited about Ep. 100 tonight
100TH EPISODE TONIGHT!
*does a happy dance*
In other news, my brain is SO excited at the prospect of a new episodes, that it has come up with YET ANOTHER PLOT BUNNY.
COME ON!
I need to write my BigBang, which I've barely touched in ten days (exactly 15 days left and I am SO SCREWED).
So of course my brain is all: "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if you wrote this AU in which Sam pays attention to those nightmares about Jess, and he disappears and Dean comes to Stanford and Sam is gone and so Dean and Jessica go hunting together to look for Sam and John?"
*headdesk*
FUCK. ME. I don't need this right now!

I have been writing the SAME DAMNED SCENE FOR A WEEK. It's only 1,000 words, and I can't make it work GOD.

*goes back to beating head against BigBang*

I have only the opening scene in mind, that being said, but suddenly it's all I can think about.
I am DOOMED.

*sits on hands*
The only reasonable response is to finish my BigBang ASAP and start working on that, but... guh. I'm stuck on this one scene.
Son of a bitch.

Seriously, this is a first draft that's due by May 1. Let it not quite work and move on, for now.
I've got my "official" first draft done, now, even though there's an entire section I'm planning to write at some point, and I KNOW I have to go back and revise the heck out of certain scenes. . . .

I AM TOTALLY FREAKING OUT ABOUT TONIGHT'S EP!

I feel like the whiniest whiner who ever whined about this.

Apparently, I called him almost every night to whine about it.
Which is my egocentric way of saying whining is good for you! And that I will keep reminding you that you can get this done anyway. ;D

Thanks for the reminder!

It's also the fact that we both decided to use that particular theme. It calls for much whining!

I'm just trying to facilitate your BigBang progress by keeping you from getting distracted, but I'd be interested to see your take on it, too.

I wasn't thinking exactly along the same lines (in my version there's no John, for one, if I recall her fic correctly he featured prominently), but yeah, as I recall it was a brilliant fic. I love her stuff.
I am resolutely not being distracted by the new shiny idea in my head.
Thanks!

I'm not suggesting that there was anything sexual between Sam and Dean, just that Dean was the most constant/comfortable/familiar person in Sam's life, and someone who reminded him of that might feel kinda like home to Sam. Which, if they're a lot alike could make Jess and Dean great friends/partners in crime or completely anathema to each other...
