I have been horribly remiss

Real Life™ is interfering with my fic-writing time. The Neverending Basement Saga of Doom™ continues apace, although I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm reasonably sure it's not a train.

This Wednesday I will be leaving for two weeks to go be operational support for the G8/G20 Summit (I work for the RCMP, for those of you just tuning in), but I won't be entirely out of touch. The hotel boasts wireless internet, so in theory I should still be able to get online.


Anyway, I haven't worked on anything I should be working on. I'm hoping I'll have time even during the summit to work on all my fics.

Ideally, I'd like to have a rough draft of all my work done by the end of this month. It'll take some doing, but I think I can do it. I have all my ideas. I just have to sit my butt down in a chair and write.

Anyway, sorry for the lack of new fic, dear readers. I hope to fix this soon. :)

I am SO SORRY about the basement! I'm glad there's at least a light! I don't think I could stand having you away for two whole weeks! I would be sad and lonely! I hope the wireless works! Have fun on your trip! I know, conferences and stuff aren't really supposed to be fun, but try to squeeze some in there!
