I felt so bad for Bobby, and yet he's so badass I couldn't really feel too pitying. Even when he was giving Dean&Sam the backtalk about how much he needs help, he was still a total sassypants awesomeman.

I just have so much love for this episode.

And I've got to stop reading these reactions- it just keeps adding to my list of "fic that doesn't exist but that I want to read"

so far I've got:
1)your 'Rufus and Bobby hunting together when they were younger.'
2)How the sheriff lady became so gung-ho about hiding the dead bodies and everything (okay, I know zombies and all, but there's some awesome stories in the middle of her and bobby conspiring together to clean the town out of monsters.)
3.)Sam and Dean's epic roadtrip through the UK
4.) the plane flight over, in which some tiny business traveler is squeezed between Dean (wild-eyed, puking, and clutching his fork for dear life, on the look out for terrorists) and Sam (drunk as a skunk, possibly as a way to save his sanity)
5.)Dean trying to get Cas to just zap them over.
6.)More rufus and bobby crazy hijinks. I was dying at a) 'I need to hide a body' and also at the whole ring-swallowing, sirens, sounds of arrest in the background...

Mark Sheppard kept referring to Jared as a Moose at ChiCon this weekend. I cheered at the TV when Crowley said it.

That ep was beautiful, indeed. Even if I couldn't understand half of what Crowley said.

I had no trouble understanding him. YMMV, I guess. :)

I don't usually have trouble with European accents -- I dunno what it was, this time.

Bobby remains completely and essentially awesome. That's really all that needs to be said.

This is one of my favorite episodes ever! I love it so much.

I now really really want someone to write me a Being Human/Supernatural crossover. Seriously. (either that or with Harry Potter or Sherlock) How often are we ever going to get the chance again to see the boys anywhere on that side of the ocean?

I couldn't stop smiling during this one, which totally surprised me because my expectations were so low. Loved it!

First the just hanging up on him mid-explanation with the research-results, next the selfish-comment - Dean was a total dick to Bobby on the phone this episode and sooo had the riot act coming.

That wasn't messed-up!Sam, that was littleBrother!Sam, using his chance to mock his older brother. You know how it is - the only one allowed to mess with the respective brother is the other brother.

[Adding my own general thoughts on the episode next]

It was about time that Bobby got some real credit. \o/ He deserved it.
And Jim did a great job here holding up the whole episode basically on his own.
It was also good to see Rufus and Sheriff Mills again (hm, looks like they letting her pop up once again as someone helpful from the authorities since she is in the know - kind of the way I would have wished they would have went with Hendrickson...but I guess, it's easier to do it with a small-town sherriff instead of an FBI-guy - especially if they don't want to overuse it)

Let's face it, Dean WAS behaving like a dick on the phone more than once this episode with Bobby and had the rant coming. The boys do really take Bobby and his help for granted. But if you think about it - don't lots of kids to that with their (good) parents? The parental figures can do anything, alsways come through and are unbreakable in their eyes.

Love the details about Crowleys life. Huh, guess after hearing about his "size-problems" in life it's so obvious why he is always making comments about Sam's size, aehm height I mean. :twisted:
And I really don't mind, that they didn't torch him, cause I really like him as a character and like to keep him around. Also - the way Sam looked at him when he said "deal is a deal"-do I sense some kind of hidden meaning here, maybe some other, not yet revealed deal, having something to do with Sam being back?

Oh, and by the way - Sam, you are the technical expert in the family - please get Bobby a Computer/Laptop and InternetConnection that's not from the last century. I'm sure he could do the research everyone throws at him in half the time with some better equipment.
Which reminds me - it was funny to see this old hardware and all, but didn't Bobby have a much more modern computer, when Dean tried to track Sam via GPS in Lazarus Rising???

I loved this episode, especially :
1. Bobby NEVER gets even one second's calm. There is always a phone ringing, or someone at his door, or someone asking him to help bury a body, or... *pets poor Bobby*
2. Dean and Sam in a small car, in the UK! *dies laughing* It reminds me of a fic I read a few weeks ago : it was the show, but in the UK, and the author had Dean and Sam driving around in a classic Mini :D
