Have people seen this? It's an attempt to quantify just how devoted the fans of "underdog" shows like Supernatural are.

It's pretty neat. I'll be curious to see the outcome.

Totally voted. And it kinda made me laugh, because I went to Anime Punch last year (and anime convention, mind you), and I was wearing my Dean amulet. I was walking the artist alley, and one artist went "OMG, is that Dean's amulet??" And I laughed, and we spent the next hour or so talking over the show, and I wound up getting a specific commission of Sam and Dean leaning on the Impala. I just found it facinating how hard-core and die-hard the fans of SPN can be. All that, just from a necklace. *shakes her head*

Very interesting questions. I really never was part of anything like this before Supernatural and I've been into a fair number of TV shows in my time. I found the Supernatural fandom through TwoP, which I've long since abandoned, but LJ? I joined up and lurked and then participated and I've loved almost every minute of it.

I don't watch the syndicated episodes, but I have every season on DVD, so hopefully that evens out my devotion score.

Also I didn't vote a zillion times in the TV Guide cover poll or the People's Choice Awards poll, but I did vote.

I may not be as zealous as a lot of fans, but I'm pretty damned devoted!

Yeah, I don't know what was up with only putting up Sam. I like Sam as much as the next girl, but Dean is 50% of the show, yo.

SPN is my first foray into fandom too. I created this LJ specifically for my fic, and began using Twitter because of Misha Collins.

I can't watch the syndicated episodes, but I have every season on DVD and watch every new episode, so. :)

I think if we spread the word enough, SPN will be very well represented. :)

The thing that really pointed out to me my level of obsession wasn't the answers I gave ... it was not understanding why anyone would ever have a DIFFERENT answer.

Hey, that's cool. I just filled it out, and I can't wait to see what they do with the information. Since they've asked for education level, I'd love them to see if there's a correlation between particular shows and academia. I'm convinced that mythology-heavy shows attract more post-grads than more 'real world' shows.
