What episode was this? We're kind of behind in the UK (as ever!) Is there a 2nd series yet? I'm assuming it's a smash hit, because the way things just disappear without a trace in the States drives me doolaly. Still haven't got over the sudden demise of the 4400! Bizarrely, even though Spn and H50 are polar opposites in terms of TV shows they appeal to me for the same reasons; never mind the plot, the relationships are what count: co-dependent male leads, works for me!
It's numbers are lukewarm for CBS BUT it sounds like the network wants to give it a chance to grow. They still haven't renewed it but they sold the syndication rights to TNT this week. Since syndication usually assumes 100 episodes that implies they have faith in it.
I still want to see the official renewal though. Cause I'm a very, very paranoid person when it comes to my shows.
OK..we're only on 8 or 9 I think. Sure hope it gets a 2nd season. I'm going to need something to keep me going once Spn finishes, and if NCIS can go to 9 seasons (why?), I can't see why H50 wouldn't.
The head of programming at CBS has compared it to NCIS which is very positive. NCIS started off with okay but not spectacular numbers but a loyal fanbase and good characters. She said that she thinks H50 can grow the same way. I just hope they give it as many years as NCIS got before it became a breakaway hit. NCIS didn't get there until after it hit syndication and everyone watched it all summer on cable.
Fingers crossed, then. I just googled it and the word from the herd is that it is pretty likely to get renewed.( I suppose the only downside for the network might be the cost of filming in Hawaii, as apparently cost per epi did for Dark Angel).
If this show doesn't get renewed, I will cry BUCKETS. I love this show too much for it to get canceled in its first season, honestly. Especially with it ending on a cliffhanger and everything. ARGH.

Wow. I have no idea what this show is about, but that is a cute man, and he is making a heart with his fingers and winking. It's a little sad that that's all I need to pique my interest.
No, it's a cop show set in Hawaii. There is a little surfing, but not much. It's basically a buddy cop thing, but CBS is screwing with our tiny slasher fangirl minds, because it's not even subtext at this point.

My room is still clean. Ish. But I think that's mostly because I went away for a while and left it spotless and unoccupied.

It's just a cold. Weirdly, I don't get sick often, but I got whammied over Christmas for weeks, so maybe that's why. I guess this year is just my turn or something.
