Yeah, okay, maybe it's just me. Feel free to skip the post wherein ratherastory attempts to get her act together, yet again. Oddly enough, the last time I did this I ended up getting a lot of it done, so I figure if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Writing & Other Fandom Projects

Late, due ASAP, or by the end of May

7 days or less

spn_j2_bigbang: I still owe my artist a bunch of missing scenes. The plan is to get up stupidly early Thursday morning and get the rest of it all written.

- ohsam: a Sam-focused h/c fic challenge.

- fandom_flood_ap: I owe casspeach hurt-yet-badass!Steve, minimum 2k.


- podficbigbang: I have a recording schedule which, if I stick to it, should have the whole thing ready by May 31st.


Due in June:

30 days or less


- h50_bigbang: The deadline for the rough draft has been pushed back to June 15th, which gives me some time to toy with it.

- leveragexchange: fanworks exchange, no wordcount limit. Posting date is June 25th.

spn_summergen: 1,000 words minimum, due July 1st. I'm including it here because if I think "July" then I'll think I have more time than I really do.

Due in July

60 days or less

- spn_j2_bigbang: Posting date is July 11th, which means my polished draft needs to be done by then.

- spn_gen_bigbang: 15,000 words minimum, rough draft due July 15th, 2011.

Due in August

90 days or less

- deancasbigbang: Uh, yeah. So, 20k, rough draft is due August 15th, 2011.

- samdean_otp: Yet another Big Bang, but "only" 10k this time. Rough draft also due August 15th, 2011.

- thebigbangjob: A Leverage Big Bang this time, 20k due August 21st.


Community & Individual Fic Commitments

- ohsam: I've written up the master list for the h/c challenge, FINALLY. So now I have to get mimblexwimble's copy, merge the two and post the whole thing.

- peppervl: she won a fic from me fair and square, and requested whumped!Sam and caring!Gabriel, preferably with plottiness. I suck at not getting this done before now, but I'm sort of lacking inspiration. We've given each other amnesty. Yay!

- morganoconner: she still has a collared!Dean fic in the works from me.

- I have rules to write for another comm I'm setting up, and am way, WAY behind on that too. Egads.

No, it should be |OK, but if there's a prob (last time it took me 10days to get up and running!), I'll just be sitting there thinking, ratherastory posted today, blah posted today....at least I'll have seasons 1 to 5!

Wow... that's a scarily long list! But I'm sure you will manage to do it all!! Go for it!!

By the way, I'm stupidly happy that you decided to sign for the Sam&Dean mini-bang too!! I squeeled!! And also, being a Sam!girl all the way I tend to avoid Dean/Cas fics, but I'll read your deancasbigbang for sure! it's bound to be awesome and you would never diss or ignore our Sammy!

I know, right? God, I don't even know how I get myself into these pickles...

The Dean/Cas BB in my case is going to be more of a Cas/Sam/Dean thing anyway. I definitely won't be neglecting Sammy. TFW all the way! :)

I am pondering which direction to take the Sam/Dean minibang. There are many possibilities, but I want to try and keep it to around 10k. So I have to figure out if I'm doing a wee casefic, a slice of life, or what. I don't know yet. The possibilities are endless! :)

(I confess, my fingers are crossed that your samdean_otp is gen - that's allowed, right? - but you're writing so much stuff that I know I'll love, that I'll have plenty to wallow in, regardless!) It will probably end up gen, yes, knowing me, although sometimes my stories surprise me. I've only ever written one actual Sam/Dean story, after all. Gen is totally allowed, and I have written what obstinatrix has termed "explicit gen" which I love as a definition of the Winchester's weird bond. :)

My artist and I haven't spoken lately which is all my fault. But I pinged her again today and hopefully we'll get the ball rolling again. I think it's going to work out very well.

So. Here's a wild and crazy thought, and you can feel free to say no.

But we both owe each other a fic that neither of us is getting around to writing, and we both have a ton of other fic on our to-write list. So, um, what if we just said that they cancelled each other out and then we could both not worry about fitting them in?
