I should have put this in my last post, but oh well.

I have come to a decision. I have all these plot bunnies dancing around in the back of my head, mostly for SPN and H50, and in the whole BB and challenge madness I have been neglecting the sad bunnies.

So once my current BB obligations are filled, I'm not going to sign up for any BBs until 2012. I think having a restrained list of BBs I would really like to participate in is a good plan. So, tentatively, here are the BBs I'd like to do next year:

- spn_j2_bigbang: it's my first love, and I can't imagine not doing it

- deancasbigbang: hopefully I won't crash and burn this year, but I had such a wonderful time with last year's BB that I want to keep doing it.

- sncross_bigbang: I never managed it this year, but I'd like to give it a shot next year.

- Whichever one of the existing H50 Big Bangs survives into next year. I somehow doubt it'll be the one I'm in this year, but you never know. :)

And that's it. All my other writing I'm going to do on my own time, just for the sheer joy of it. No pressure, only stories.

Aw, babe. Your BB nearly made me lose my mind. I had no plot at all when I first started, and it was only a last-minute inspiration that let me write it. I don't think I have another long Gabriel-centric story in me. If I have a major inspiration, though, I won't discount it. :)

LOL fair enough. :) Your BB last year was pretty much my favorite, so I was looking forward to seeing what you came up with this year. But I'll be good and not harp on you about it this year. ;)

Like I said, if I suddenly have a brilliant Gabriel-centric idea, I'll totally write it. Otherwise I'll keep plugging along, and doubtless Gabe will crop up in a story or three, knowing me. ;)

I somehow ended up writing FOUR stories for spngenbigbang. *Dean voice* "What the HELL??" */Dean voice* But I got them done.

Now I just have my summer of Sam gen story, my Sam and Gabriel big banglet, and a hoodie time tagfic to do.

Then I'm getting caught up on my other stories! Those are the last three that have time limits on them.

I have two BBs apart from the GenBB, but I think it's doable. Then I have a handful of shorter challenges to write for. After that I'm almost completely home free in terms of commitments except for one in November.

Yeah...the H50 bangs are a hot mess this year. But I have high hopes for the five0bang because the mods run a tight ship and there are a ton of people signed up. The only bad thing is that it's a 40k minimum and that's a lot for me. I still signed up though. :)

I am signed up too (I didn't cout it in this list), and I have a story that should take me over the 40k minimum, though hopefully not by much.

What's happening over at hawaii_bigbang? I had to drop out of that due to time considerations, when I forced myself to pick just one H50 to write for. Any news there?

I just know that was the one that had all the drama over pairings allowed. Then they got new mods and had drama over schedule changes. I think they are more likely to work out the kinks for next year than the one we did though.

They had more completed stories than ours did.

Yeah, I heard about all the drama there. We only had, what, three completed stories in ours? Four if you include the mod's relatively incomplete one. The posting schedule was supposed to go up today (how hard is it to make posting dates for three BBs?) but no sign of it yet.

Worse comes to worst, I'll ping my artists myself and we'll make up a posting date by ourselves and just post to our own LJs.

I'm looking forward to five0bang. I have great little AU in mind. :D

Yeah...I had to email the mod about several of the previous dates and still contacted my artist before the reveals. *frown* Definitely not an ideal first ever big bang for me let me tell you. I still don't know half of what I'm supposed to be doing or how things usually go. Thankfully my fic is done and I'm just going with the flow.

Oh! Is that the AU with the bookstore and the children's books?

I have a good idea for mine too but I think I'll do my zombiebang first since its only 5k. I also have an idea for that I am literally twirling with joy about. :D

I was very lucky. My first BB was the spn_j2_bigbang and wendy and thehighwaywoman run a very tight ship. It also has hundreds of finished fics every year.

The zombie thing looks fun, although I will confess to side-eyeing anything that calls itself a "bang" that's under 15k. 10k is considered a "minibang" in most circles, and a "big bang" is generally 20k+. But ZOMBIES! \o/

Well you see I had this dream where for some reason I had written a fic where Danny turns into a flower which led to me making this:

All you amazing people who do multiple bangs just awe me. That being said, I can't wait to read all the bunnies that you have planned. Ease up a little and take the time to enjoy your writing instead of having it overwhelm you. Too much pressure is never a good thing.
