Anglican deacons can't consecrate. Some Protestant deacons (like those in my church) can. In extremis in pretty much all denominations anyone can celebrate the sacraments in the absence of a priest, so dying people can be baptised; lay people about to be executed the next day can celebrate the eucharist and so on.
So, given that ministering is my actual, rl job, should I watch this?
The ministering thing will drive you crazy. Also, it's really gory and the crappy first-aid treatment got on my nerves. Furthermore, it's very poorly acted. I'm not recommending it, but it's only about 10 minutes long, so YMMV.

I'm seconding the "It's a horrible show with almost no logical explanation for anything and crap acting, but it's short" line.
I'm moderately glad I watched it. Now, if it comes up in conversation I can recoil in horror by my own choice and not by hearsay. :D
