The fic that would not die

So it turned out that I was really, really unhappy with the last chapter before the epilogue of "Take Me Home." Not only that, but I was made of math fail once again, and there were only 28 chapters.

I ended up scrapping Chapter 28 anyway, and then the re-write turned into two chapters. Gah.

So after that triumphant last post in which I declared the story finished, I feel kind of stupid in declaring victory once again, but this time it's true, I swear! Not only that, but the epilogue will get posted tomorrow, so there's no chance of going back now.

Eesh.

Does this mean that there's a chapter and an epilogue left? Also, never claim fail on providing more on a good story. Just consider it giving the readers the cupcake beaters to lick as well as the cupcakes. "Ooh, for me? You shouldn't have!"

Either way, I'm still pleased. I sort of don't want it to end, but I'm just dying to find out what happens and how it wraps up.

I steal almost all my icons. I have no talent for them, so I take the ones I like and credit the makers.

I'm kind of sad the fic is ending too, but I have lots of other fic to write, so it's not so bad.

No complaints here. I've enjoyed the heck out of what I've read so far (I had a bad period of computer fail when I couldn't get your LJ to load properly. o_O?) so now I can finish it all in one shot. \o/

Weird. I had someone on FF.net who couldn't get the story to load either. There is serious communication fail with this story, it seems.
