The one where Danny Williams and Steve McGarrett tried living together and "it didn't work out."

It's better off this way, Danny tells himself for the thousandth time. He's got a nice room to stay in without the sound of the ocean to keep him up at night. There's no elbow jabbing him in the ribs in the middle of the night, no one dripping sea water on him at ungodly hours in the morning and insisting he get up long before normal human beings set foot out of bed.

It's better off this way. Steve was never the type to make a commitment anyway, and Danny should have known that. Better to know now, than later when he'd have become attached to the guy. The living arrangements were a temporary thing, just while he was looking for a new place to stay, and if he and Steve haven't been together at all since Steve told him he should look for a new place, well, it's better this way. The clean cut heals soonest and all that.

So Danny sits in his new room, throws open the window as the sun begins to set over the horizon, and listens to the distant sound of the ocean crashing against the beach.

No problem, although I did envision something more Gen with a lot of Danny/Steve banter. Maybe even kind of a Felix/Oscar type thing where McGarrett's a neat freak and Danny's a slob (I know he lived in a hovel before, but it looked like he never cleaned the place). LOL
