I'm on a roll (another meme, yes)

I was tagged in a meme by borgmama1of5 to list seven of my quirks/habits/facts and tag seven LJ friends to do the same. I don't tag people in memes on general principle, but if this appeals to you, consider yourself tagged. :)

1- I have moved six times in my life but have managed to live 31 years with the same two phone numbers.

2- I read when I walk, and I never bump into things or people or trip. It's a skill.

3- I wear rainbow-striped socks all winter long. Preferably knee-high, but I'll take what I can get.

4- I have a weird fascination with zombies. To the point that I wrote a novel about them.

5- I've been told that I have an awesome phone voice.

6- It drives me CRAZY when the editor of a series of books changes the format halfway through the series. I get all twitchy because my BOOKS don't MATCH on my shelves.

7- I have a very reliable long-term memory, but my short-term memory is for shit. I have to write everything down if I don't want to forget it inside an hour. Also, my memory appears to be text-based. I can recite poems and dialogue from films and the theatre with no problem, and once I've written something down it apparently stays engraved in my brain, but otherwise things just leak out my ears.

That's it. I am a strange girl, what can I say?

OMG NUMBER SIX. I will refuse to buy books because they don't match (STILL waiting to buy Inkdeath for example because Inheart and Inkspell are in trade pb and they refuse to release Inkdeath that way yet.)

I have to have sets. I can't have missing books. So even though I have books that I own as e-books, I had to go out and buy the actual books too so it wouldn't look weird on the shelf to have 1,2,3,5,6, and so forth.

Awww #6. I am exactly the same way. I even go so far as to need my dvds to match too. Around Season 8 of Stargate SG-1 they changed the dvd box sets from 5 dvd cases in one box to a slimmed-down case that held all 5 dvds. You can not have 10 seasons of something and they not all match! It drove me nuts.
