[livejournal.com profile] pkwench to the rescue!

I know I've been whining a LOT about the fic I was writing for an exchange, but [livejournal.com profile] pkwench has totally saved the day! She asked about the prompts I got, then threw a couple of ideas my way, including one which was pretty cracktastic, and suddenly I had 4,000+ words of fiction written.

Yeah, I don't know. The woman has special magical prompting powers, I swear!

It turns out that I needed to scrap the really boring thing I wrote before and write crack fiction instead. I really hope the prompter isn't too offended by what I came up with, but I REGRET NOTHING.

The new fic is a LOT better. It flowed, it had some fun lines in it (including": “Great. In the meantime, I'm stuck re-enacting Julia & Julia,” Dean grumbled. which is my personal favourite), and had a better ending than the last one.

In short: \o/

Yay! I'm happy it all worked out for you. :) And I kinda can't wait to see your fic...

While I was ecstatic to see mine go off to the mods two days ago, I couldn't help but say yes when today I got called on for a pinch-hit. The prompt is just awesome, I couldn't turn it down, and I'm really happy to get to work on at least one I'm legitimately excited about. :)

Did she leave a bunch of awesome prompts at the horror fic meme? The name looks very familiar.

What exchange was this for? I can't wait to read it!

Quit, you'll make me blush. LOL Seriously, I'm glad that I could Frankenstein an idea out of the prompts for you and that it got the little bunnies in your head hopping about. I cannot imagine that the prompter would be offended at all. You write the characters so well and your stories are always so engaging - be they amusing or scary or angst ridden. There's no way that they'll be disappointed.

Okay, I'm going to have so much fun reading this. I can tell already!
