I've been fighting with the

werewolfbigbang for months now. I think I finally got the story to gel in my head, but it's due Friday, and work is kicking my ass these days. I'm also leaving Friday morning for a three-day trip. I have no time to get it all written. I can probably reach the 10K minimum before then, but the story won't be finished.

In short, this one is stressing me beyond all reason, and while it KILLS me, I think I'm going to drop out this year. I'll still write the story, but I'm going to do it at my own pace, because this way I'm not disappointing anyone by dropping out later.

Well, I'm disappointing myself, but I think I can live with that. I won't drop out until Thursday night/Friday morning, just in case I pull off a miracle, but otherwise I'm not going to make myself insane.
