Oh my God it refuses to die!

I now have to officially beat my head against my keyboard. Again.

Because the goddamned story is still not goddamned finished and OHMYGOD WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF?

I think, I THINK I can get the story finished in the next chapter. Holy crap. I really need to sit down and plot out the next 10K, though. A lot rests on this final chapter, and I really want to make sure I get it right.

Oy.

Next year, I am writing a casefic. Sam and Dean hunt a ghost. They salt and burn the remains. The end. God.

I'm trying to wrap this thing up before it bogs down entirely, and I'm not sure I've managed that.

Right now I'm just keeping my head down and trying to finish the first draft. If I can just get to the freaking end of the damned story, I'll be happy.

Once that's done, I already have a pretty good idea of the major bits that need fixing. After that, I'm going to inflict it on my poor beta, who will then hopefully whip it into shape for me.

Yep, I finished it! Now I have to work out the last chapter. I had a few interesting notions about how it should work while we were chatting this afternoon, so now I have to do some plotting accordingly.
