Wee Update, and Wincon!

Hi LJ!

*waves*

Long time no see! That's because I haven't been writing, and I pretty much only use this LJ for my fanfiction. No fanfic, no post, you see how that goes? I stopped writing because writing was making me hate myself, and so far I haven't regretted that decision, even though I still feel guilty about not writing. Of the lose-lose scenario, this one was the least painful.

On a much brighter note, I am going to Wincon, thanks to the generosity of valtyr who bought me a pass last year when I was broke! \o/

So, who else is going? I want to meet as many of you wonderful people as possible! (And then, quite possibly, I will be peopled out and spend several hours hiding under a table, but you're all cool with that, right?)

Ack, I'm so sorry writing became a toxic thing for you! That's really, really awful, and I hope it doesn't stay that way forever -- just because I don't want any sort of creative pursuit, especially one for which you have so much talent, to be that way.

I am sorry to hear that--I friended your LJ because I adore your writing--but absolutely you should only do it if you enjoy it--can I ask why it stopped being fun for you? You don't have to answer! I'm just curious--but it is none of my business. i do hope you one day pick it up again and it starts being fun for you, because you are so talented!

I'm so sorry you don't enjoy writing any more. I came back to LJ today because I have been reading your stories exclusively for the past two days and I LOVE them. I want you to feel good about the magic you create. I need you to know that it made ME feel good, anyway. Please don't hate yourself.

I went looking for the art that went with "The Bird that Feels the Light," a truly wonderful story that I had read before and re-read today with just as much feeling and interest. I love it. But when I clicked on the art, it wouldn't open, so my heart broke a little because I knew I was missing something great.

I know this comment is too long, but I love your writing. Have fun at your con. Feel good about yourself. I have been in your corner for a long time, just quiet. But not quiet anymore. You are great!
