Wherein ratherastory is a chicken

Season 5 has been sitting on my TV since Tuesday. Have I re-watched it? NO. I've watched the gag reel and the "Ghostfacers" webisodes, and I'm making my way through the (kinda boring) special features.

I cannot BRING myself to watch the second half of Season 5. I re-watched the first half on my computer a while back, and stopped at 5.10.

I am a giant chicken because I don't know if my heart can take being broken that hard all over again.

I have made a pact with a SPN fangirl friend and a bottle of rum. Between the two of them, I plan to make it through S5 on a series of progressive Wednesday nights.

Is it bad that I am already a little panic stricken at the thought of this coming Wednesday…?

I think only massive doses of script-mocking will get me through. Even then, I expect to be bawling somewhere in the middle.
