I saw the Season 6 promo. I flailed, I squeed, and then I hied myself off for a cold shower. HOT DAMN.

Sam and Dean are cursed by a witch to spend the next year shirtless! Alas, if they did that I suspect Jensen would devote himself to a life of crunches and protein shakes in order to avoid showing us his belleh in HD. Not that I have HD. ;)

Yeah.

I'm not sure when the tummy happened. Must have been Season 5, since in Lazarus Rising he's got a very nicely-defined six-pack (and alas that I can't find an image of that right now). Not that I'm complaining either way. I like the tummy just as much as the six-pack.

I'm going to stop now before this hole gets any deeper.

I like your idea for that curse, though. Castiel could stand around in too many layers and look perplexed and annoyed at the same time, too.

Oh, I like the belly too! I like that he appears to have the body of an athletic but normal guy in his 30's, rather than a gym bunny or a hipster waif dude. I also like that it confirms my suspicions from way back that has had to work to stay skinny and otherwise tended to gain just a bit of weight. :D

Aehm, you did see Jared's reaction to candy around somewhere. He is pretty much like Dean when it comes to food. But I guess, that tall tall body and all the workout make sure, you don't see that. And - he is still in his twenties.
We will see, how he looks in a few years.

Actually, it also fits the story. Dean tries to live the civilian live right now. 9 to 5 construction job, steady home with probably regular healthy meals and so on instead of hunting/chasing monsters, fighting, keeping in shape to be able to do the job. So a "normal" athletic body makes more sense for him right now.

Jared's reaction to sweets is well-known, yes. We'll see what happens when he hits 30 and his metabolism starts to slow down. Not that I'd object to a tummy on him, either.

Jensen's "new" look does indeed fit the story. And hell, it fits the story from before, too: Dean eats all sorts of unhealthy crap, and you never see him working out or anything like that. So he's healthy but not a gym bunny in terms of looks.
