Damn. This is confusing.

So it's probably not a secret that I'm in love with a new show and fandom. H50 is delicious in so many ways. SPN is still my first love, and 90% of my plot bunnies are still there, but I have about three stories in various stages of development for H50 too. *headdesk*

ANYWAY.

The problem? The two leads, who are ADORABLY SLASHY EVEN IN CANON, are called Steve and Danny.

So what do I see in all the fic headings? S/D

Yeah.

My first thoughts are always: "What the hell are Sam and Dean doing in an H50 fic?"

*facepalm*


I also need to update my icons to reflect the fact that I am no longer monogamous in my fandom love. I adore all my SPN icons, but there are other shows which need representation now...

Okay. So I have a very weird question. I do like the show and am tempted to start reading H50 fic, but I need to know something before I begin.

When it comes to h/c preferences, which character is the current fandom favorite to be the "hurtee" versus the comforter. I would rather get myself in that mindset going in, rather than get disappointed by a dearth of fics in the future... spoken by a true oh!Sam girl. :)

Huh. You know, I haven't seen that many pure h/c fics out there. Most of it right now seems to be slash.

Otherwise, I've heard that Danny is generally the focus of the h/c, but the fics I've seen tend to have Steve in the hurt/sick role.

So... I dunno? It seems 50/50 at this point, with not all that much h/c yet, which I totally plan on rectifying. My own preference right now seems to be to whump Danno to within an inch of his life, but I'm sure I'll eventually turn my attention to Steve, since I am all about the equal-opportunity whump. ;)

I love how you're always so Equal Opportunity... but I won't mind at all seeing some Danny whumpage! Here he had a canon!bumleg, and I can't find any good gen fic using that!
