Giving myself personal wordcount amnesty this month

March has sucked for wordcount.

I distinctly remember promising myself that I would stop this project the minute I wasn't having fun anymore.

Guess what? Stressing out over not writing for a week is NOT FUN. So this is me, stopping the million-word project for now. I am giving myself amnesty until April 1st at least, and then I will maybe start again if I feel like it. The year is young.

The last two weeks of March will now be used to edit a couple of ongoing fics, finish my ohsam fic, make that freaking master post of all the ohsam challenge fics that made it in before deadline (which I am SO behind on, I can't even), and record those two outstanding podfics I have to do.

Oh, and I have another comm I need to write guidelines for. Right. Mustn't forget that.

In short, this is me going back to where fandom activities are fun and not an obligation. :)

I hear you on this one! I was beating myself up for a week before I remembered "This isn't your job! This is your hobby! It's supposed to bring you pleasure not make you feel like a failure or want to run away and hide!"
Cutting yourself some slack is a wonderful thing :)

Good! It's supposed to be fun. You give me huge amounts of pleasure, so I want it to be at least as enjoyable for you as it is for me.
In any case, you are so prolific even if you don't write anything new before April i probably still won't have had time to catch up!

It's not the html so much as it's the sheer volume of fics produced for the challenge. I am thrilled, but also a wee bit overwhelmed at the thought of all that coding. :P
