So it turns out that 1 million words is a leetle bit too stressful of a goal for now. So I'm adjusting the wordcount goal for the year to 750k, which is still 250k more than last year, but seems way more doable. If I suddenly get a spurt of productivity later on, well, it'll be a bonus.

Sorry, for the random update of worcountishness which will interest almost no one but me. This is mostly for my own records.

There will be fic soonish, as soon as I get one of these WIPs I've got going done. :)

March has sucked for wordcount.

I distinctly remember promising myself that I would stop this project the minute I wasn't having fun anymore.

Guess what? Stressing out over not writing for a week is NOT FUN. So this is me, stopping the million-word project for now. I am giving myself amnesty until April 1st at least, and then I will maybe start again if I feel like it. The year is young.

The last two weeks of March will now be used to edit a couple of ongoing fics, finish my [livejournal.com profile] ohsam fic, make that freaking master post of all the [livejournal.com profile] ohsam challenge fics that made it in before deadline (which I am SO behind on, I can't even), and record those two outstanding podfics I have to do.

Oh, and I have another comm I need to write guidelines for. Right. Mustn't forget that.

In short, this is me going back to where fandom activities are fun and not an obligation. :)

TALLY HO!

Heh. Perversely, even though it's waaaaay behind in the polls, I kind of feel like writing that J2 Avatar re-telling (complete with much less clichéd plotlines, hopefully, and slightly more realistic characterisation of secondary characters) for the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang, because HOLY CRAP IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES FOR ART! \o/

...

Okay. I'm good now.

Anyway, this is actually a Writing Projects Post™ masquerading as me waffling further about the Big Bang. ;)

Since I am still aiming for my more-or-less insane wordcount goal of 1 million words by December 31st, I've realized that I am really going to have to stay on top of my projects and deadlines, so I'm going to try to make weekly project posts for my own benefit. These are guidelines and wish lists, more than rigid schedules, but they should help.

Anyway, carry on. Nothing behind the cut except what I'm planning to work on this week.

So... Projects behind the cut. )
