Title: Many Happy Returns
Summary: Written for the ohsam fic challenge for a prompt by the lovely and talented de_nugis. Fusion 'verse. It's Sam's first birthday since they've been reunited, and Dean wants to make it special. He doesn't count on it being a bad day.

Neurotic Author's Note #1: The prompt was: Early May is the anniversary of so many horrible things -- deaths and deals and hells and apocalypses -- that it's always a bad time for Sam. Insomnia, depression, nightmares, hallucination relapses, tendency to get sick, whatever you want. Makes for some lousy birthdays. Dean figures out how to show he gets it about the bad memories, but he's still going to celebrate Sam's existence, damn it, and make Sam do so, too.
Neurotic Author's Note #2: I don't think I have anything else to say here. This is all standard Fusion fare. Angst and vague schmoop and cute dogs. IDK. All I know is that de_nugis's prompts are like crack for me.

Neurotic Author's Note #1: Written for summer_sam_love for a couple of prompts by cordelia_gray. The first prompt asked for a post-fall-of-the-Wall!Sam with enhanced and uncontrolled powers/migraines, and the second asked for a Sam lost in his own mind, with Dean going in (perhaps by dreamwalking) in order to help him sort himself out. This is the unrecognisable bastard child of those two prompts, with a bit of acid and Doctor Seuss thrown in for good measure.

I don’t even know what to make of this weird, meandering thing, except that that’s how it turned out.

Warnings: PWP, m/m sex, and angst, because I am apparently incapable of writing happy sex. IDEK, okay? Spoilers through the first half of Season 6.
Neurotic Author's Note #1: Oh my God, what was I even thinking signing up for this? "You should expand your horizons," I told myself. "Push yourself out of your comfort zone," I added to that. What did I do? I signed up to write porn under a deadline. Actual porn, as opposed to a buttload of angst with a side-order of sex. /o\

Warnings: Spoilers up to and including 5.04 “The End.” Swearing. Angst. Lots and lots of angst. Also a wee bit of schmoop, but only a wee bit.
Neurotic Author's Note #1: Um. I’m not quite sure what happened here. This was supposed to be a straightforward fic mostly about Sam detoxing and wallowing in guilt, and instead it… became this. It’s as much about Cas as it is about Sam, and that feels really weird, but I guess I’m posting it anyway. There’s plenty of Sam-focused h/c, so I’m not too worried about that.
Neurotic Author's Note #2: So, uh, I wrote more slash, and it’s Sam/Cas. IDEK, okay? It’s not quite as explicit as my H50 fic, but it’s up there. There is more angsty sex-that’s-not-about-the-sex, and I’m pretty sure that both Sam and Cas hate me right about now.
Neurotic Author's Note #3: This ended up being unbeta’d, so all mistakes are my own and I apologize in advance.
Neurotic Author's Note #4: For the record, there is not much attention paid to realism in this particular story. Much, much hand-waving happens.
