It's not like I've disappeared or anything

Sorry for not being better with updates and whatever, folks. I was sick as the proverbial dog earlier this week, which put a crimp in all my plans. Then I had to put my eldest kitty Gretzky to sleep yesterday, and I'm kind of a wreck over it.

Things'll get better and I promise I will eventually pull my life in order and start posting fic and updates and all that again as soon as I can.

Right now I'm just trying not to think too hard about the empty spot on my sofa.

Awwww! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Gretsky is beautiful. Bless you for being brave and doing what was right for Gretsky to be free of pain, and for taking such good care of her--18 is a terrific long life for a cat, but it doesn't make it any easier when they're gone. :-((( Gretsky has gone ahead to the Rainbow Bridge, and will be waiting for you to find her again some day. *hugs*

Thank you. It was Gretzky's time, no matter how hard it was for me. It's part of my responsibility to make sure that all my cats are happy and free of suffering, even if I miss her. Like you said, we'll be back together some day.
