Actually, lj has been doing all kinds of weird things these days. From changing my layout to a hideous default one - killerweasel fixed that for me, but not without me waiting to see if it would come back on it's own...and waiting...and waiting...

Then I got the Russian site, which happily, did right itself in time, because unlike you, I doubt I could have figured it out enough to fix it.

So go you! I am suitably impressed.
