Okay. What didn't make it into the fic was a fairly long digression into the actual case. I seriously considered having Eliot accompany Parker and Hardison in order to go rescue Sophie, and then have him be suitably badass and confront the bad guy. Then I realized that not only would that require another 7k at least, it was also not necessary for the story and wouldn't contribute anything to the dramatic tension. So I left it out. :)
