So, theoretically, if I were to go to Wincon next year, would anyone be willing to share a room with me? I am very low-maintenance. ;)

I can pretty much only afford one con next year, and it sounds like so much fun, I'd love to be able to go.

Thinking really hard about it. I can probably swing the cost, since it won't be nearly as outrageous as the "regular" cons. Besides, I have all the photo ops/panels I could ever want, and what I really want now is to spend quality time with fangirls. :D

Last year, I did my research and discovered that the TSA allows a rather massive amount of alcohol in your checked bag, as long as it's not over 100 proof. So I brought smallish plastic bottles of two kinds of vodka plus a box of drink mix packets. Aluminum bottle + ice + water + vodka + drink mix = drinking on a budget without looking like you're carrying a drink around in public. LOL And there's always buying locally if you don't want to check a bag. ;)
