ratherastory: (Single Tear)
ratherastory ([personal profile] ratherastory) wrote2010-05-30 01:59 pm

I am a bad, bad person

I'm watching Dark Angel (through Zip.ca, which is our equivalent of Netflix), and Jensen Ackles is in this episode as a serial killer, and all I can do is think "Hot DAMN, he is pretty!"

No seriously, there is a place for me in the special hell. For one, he's ten years younger in this than he is now, and I am fascinated by his eyes, and God help me, his mouth. I'm just staring, and it's kind of embarrassing.

Also? The main character just smacked him in the face and now he's got blood all over his teeth and GUH.

*headdesk*

He still hurts really purty, and he obviously had that single tear thing going even back then.

OOF.

Like I've always said: if he weren't married and I were straight (and, y'know, he even knew I existed, which he doesn't and which is as it should be)...

(AUUGH! His knee just went totally the wrong way. OH GOD THE SQUICK! Oh, and he's crying and I don't care if he's a serial killer I want to pet the bunny and make him tea.)

*pets you and hands you Season 1 Supernatural*

LOL

I've watched Season 1 so many times (I think the current count is at 11, because I keep introducing new people to the show by rewatching it with them) that I can quote most of the episodes by heart. ;)

I'm even considering watching Smallville just to see JA in it. I am DOOMED.

You have to watch Smallville 4.08, "Spell". Jensen's character falls out a window and Clark catches him in the full-out Harlequin-novel-cover pose. And it is FABULOUS. Also, the girls are possessed by 16th century French witches, one of whom is named Briana. *facepalm*

Oh my God, that sounds AWESOME, in a train-wreck kind of way. I totally have to watch that now.

[identity profile] sinnerforhire.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's a total trainwreck. On the other hand, Kristin Kreuk is tolerable because she can only act when she's slutting it up, and Allison Mack's cleavage is always relevant. ;) Oh, and there's Clark chained up and bleeding. :D

[identity profile] ratherastory.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Those ALL sound like excellent reasons to watch. You're right: Allison Mack's cleavage is ALWAYS relevant! ;)

I will watch anything with JA in it. He was in a sitcom called Mr. Rhodes and I have watched that! Just to see him in it. Talk about jailbait, he was maybe 16 or something then but still it was him. Then he was in something called Still life...I don't think it ever made it but here is the youtube link

Sorry for going on and on, but that man does it to me.

No no, by all means, carry on!

Lol, my S1-watching count keeps climbing for the same reason. I love it so much, though, it really isn't a hardship. And I keep finding new details in the episodes and opportunities to analyze their characters, which is good because I'm still a newbie - only discovered SPN in January - and I'm trying to get a better grasp for fic writing.

Aww, you're a newbie too? I just discovered the show last October. :)

Rewatching the show isn't a hardship, no.

Aw, we're both in our first year! *toasts us*

Yeah, oh my God - so few things have taken over me body and soul in such a short period of time. I sacrificed my last semester of college to it, honestly. It was wonderful because my best friend/roommate fell for it at the exact same time, so we watched it all together - there was a period of a couple months where we literally did not go a single day without watching an SPN episode, and usually two at that. Some Saturdays, we watched six in a row. :P We watched S2 in six days, S3 in less time, I think. We went mad, and still are. But it's wonderful because she's a fantastic writer and we're collaborating on fic ideas, like a whole series of girl!Dean stories, and even though we're on opposite sides of the country now we're planning on playing certain episodes at the same time and discussing them over the phone as we watch.

Lol, sorry for the teal deer, I just...really love talking about SPN/me. :D

No worries. I can go on and on and on to anyone who'll listen.

I actually watched all of Season 4 in less than two days. I think I maybe slept five hours total. I just sat on the sofa and clutched my cat the entire time. ;)

*jaw drops again before she bursts out laughing* Wow. I am so impressed - of all the seasons to speed-watch, that one...I don't think I could have done it. Actually, I can't imagine having watched the whole series/S4 especially alone, or even with a beloved pet. I desperately needed Bailey to wail with after each one - yeah, it was quite a process, every night we'd watch our two episodes, and then we'd sit there and talk about it, often for an hour, before we went to do our homework and go to bed. Lol. And we'd sit on opposite sides of the room, which was a really good idea, because otherwise I'd probably bruise/claw her arms bloody.

Oh, and when we caught up and the S5 haitus was over, it aired when we had office hours at yearbook, so we'd take an hour off during work and decree a law of only HUSHED WHISPERS while it was on. We enforced it ruthlessly, too.

Season 4 BROKE me. I couldn't stop watching.

I spent the entire time clutching the cat and yelling at the TV. Most of it was along the lines of: "Oh, Dean, bunny!" and Oh, Sam, sweetheart, no!"

Actually, I called them both "bunny" a lot.

Season 5 made me discover live streaming on the internet. :P
