Just missed the fail!boat
I almost accidentally posted my
spn_las contribution early, instead of posting the one from the challenge that already went by.
Maybe this whole "giving up coffee" thing wasn't such a good plan. :P

You know, it occurred to me to poke you about it, and then I forgot again.
This whole thing is not good for my inner eight-year-old, though. She keeps throwing tantrums. :P

But I was mainlining, like, five to ten cups a day. So I quit, at least until it's all out of my system. I might pick it up again in the future, but I want to see if I can live without it for a while.
It's actually not been that hard. Mostly I miss my morning ritual. :)

I'm pretty sure I'd be arrested for multiple heinous crimes if I gave it up entirely.
You are a braver and stronger woman than me. ;)

It hasn't been so bad, honestly.

Bummer about your challenge!

I am not fond of decaf. I actually quit coffee three weeks ago, and I'm doing okay. Had about 24 hours of nasty withdrawal, and now it's fine. :)
I may take it up again in another few weeks, once I'm certain I won't go right back to my ten-cup-a-day habit. ;)

What? Giving up coffee?!?
BLASPHEMER!
It is by coffee alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of the java bean that thoughts acquire speed. The teeth acquire stains; the stains become a warning. It is by coffee alone I set my mind in motion.

It's like the litany against fear, only with coffee!
