Random brain misfires while re-watching Season 5

Okay, so I'm watching the beginning 5.10, and Ellen lines up the tequila shots for Castiel, and suddenly all I can think is: hey, has anyone written Ellen/Cas? Because I bet that would be awesome!

I have this problem where I try to write Cas and he sounds like Spock. Sheriff-of-heaven!Spock is a strangely unconvincing figure.

I found that when I was first writing him he sounded like Spock too. The secret (for me, anyway) is to let Cas use contractions. He uses them in the show. ;)

He says things like 'yeah' and 'okay' and 'uh', too! He's really not all that formal, I don't think.

It would be awesome. Of course, this means you should write me some, you know that right? *enables* LOL! I ship Ellen with everyone. I'm especially fond of Dean/Ellen, but hell I love me some John/Ellen, Bobby/Ellen...and I'd love to see a Cas/Ellen dynamic.

Oh yes it has been written! I love me some rare pairs, especially with Ellen, who just doesn't get enough love, and with Cas, who I ship with just about everyone. :D

I really can't get past what the reactions of everyone else would be to that. Staring wide eyed in to space, passing the bottle of tequila around while they all try very hard to pretend that nothing is going on in the next room. Maybe Dean keeps trying to peek and Jo just keeps turning the jukebox up louder and louder. XDDD
