Writing is hard!

I am late on my help_pakistan fic, because I decided to write a John POV and it's HARD. Gah. John is a MYSTERY to me and I live in stark, drooling admiration of writers who can wrap their minds around him. Also, wee!chester fic is not my forte. I can do it, but it's not my preferred playground.

Yay, challenges.

Poor you :P You want really hard, try season 6 Sam! LOL!! I think the trick with John is to to remember that underneath all his gruff, he really did love his boys. And children never truly see the whole picture of what their parents do for them. It is easier to see what they don't do.

Yes, I tend to work on multiple projects simultaneously, before you ask. ;)

I can't quite wrap my mind around John's thought processes, is my problem. Usually I write wee!chesters from Sam's POV.

Well there is a lot of fear in John's world. That is for sure. He's an 'ends justify the means' kinda guy (my boys might hate me in the end but at least they will be alive). He rules with a heavy hand but that comes from his fear. Yeah... he's a head case, lol!! Good luck!

Oh gosh, I really feel your pain, there. John is a REALLY complex character, and one we've seen so little of. D=

Despite this, you are Incredible so I have no doubt you'll work it out. :) You also have an amazing Sam-voice, and I feel like that could be an advantage when trying to work out John's character - because they are obviously not the SAME, but they are more alike than either like to admit.

Anyways, me rambling in an attempt to be helpful - YOU CAN DO IT. I have "le faith"! =D

I love writing John. I've only written him like 3 times because...I was only inspired three times lol but he's so fascinating to me. I just adore the hell out of him.

If it helps you any, what phx69 said sounds exactly like the John I like to read. (But what do I know, you're the one who made me enjoy mpreg, so you could probably sell me abusive!John in a tutu.)
