Another thought that's not an insta-reaction

Behind a cut, because of spoilers.

Am I the only one who's having issues with Show's humour, lately?

Potty humour aside, I am getting increasingly squicked by the rape jokes. Is it me, or are they getting more... explicit? I mean, there was the "rode hard and put up wet" from earlier seasons, but this last episode just made me wince and CRINGE.

The sexual references were excessive, pointless, and not funny. They weren't saying anything new. It wasn't witty. I know SPN is about as refined as Hooters, but could they be a tiny bit clever about it?
Rape shower - OK. Dean's feeling violated. Sure.
Porn watching - why? Guys, that's just crude.
Cas/Meg - where the F did that come from?
Naked torture - where's the gore?? If there's no gore, how do we know it's not just demon sex?
In conclusion, the humor was jarring, risque, risky, and full of fail. If they're going to make rape jokes, they better have a solid payoff and flawless execution to compensate for the discomfort. These didn't.
