I am amazed at home powerful it felt to put that X in the circle. It feels powerful every time but this time, even more so.

Absolutely. For some reason I feel like this might be one of the most important elections our country has had in years. It's funny, because at first I feared voter apathy since it seems all we ever do anymore is head to the polls, with very little change when we do. But people are turning out in droves. It will be quite interesting to see how it all unfolds this time.

Do you know that the advanced polls broke records this time? I remember hearing that there were over 2 million advanced polls cast and that this has never happened in any election. The advanced polls are the indication of the actual election day and it seems to me that, with line ups already starting at 8:30, 8:45 am Eastern, that this will be *epic*...

Yeah, I actually voted in the advanced poll and it was a 25 minute wait. In the past, I've actually gone to polling stations where I was literally the only person there. I was certainly not expecting that type of turnout. This is huge. I do feel we'll have another minority, but the distribution as far as the official opposition goes will be key. I'm going to make popcorn and watch CTV tonight. *LOL*
