Because it ought to be my birthday all month long

Okay.

It's not a secret by now that I am completely and totally obsessed with Supernatural, and that the only way I can work through this obsession is by writing fic.

I'm thinking casefic at this point (don't worry, I'm not giving up on the other WIPs I have), but because it's my birthday + 1 day I am going to make you work for it.

Give me a prompt for the case you've always wanted to see the boys take on and they never did. It can be anything from a one-word prompt ("UNICORN!") all the way to a full prompt complete with your favourite secondary characters or whatever.

After that I pick the prompt(s) I like best, and I'll write it (them). Also, I am happy to beat either boy into a puddle —within the confines of a casefic— for the record, if that's part of the prompt. It's not a secret that I'm a h/c whore.

Sound good?

I thought so, at any rate. ;)

Aaaaand GO!

Oh, crap I totally missed this!
DARN.
Well, if it's not too late, here is my bid -- I prompted it at my meme-thing, too, LOL, but i don't know if anyone will take me up on it. I always leave this prompt and so far no dice. If you don't write it, I probably will ;)

AU. Sam and Dean haven't spoken since Sam left for Stanford. Dean's about thirty when he gets busted-up but good and has to stop hunting. He changes his name ('cause he's hiding from the feds) and opens a bar much like the Roadhouse and becomes a sort of sage-like character -- people come to him for advice. Sam comes looking for advice -- doesn't expect to find his brother.

Totally not too late. I can only write a few things at a time, frankly, so a lot of these prompts are going on a Giant List Of Things To Write.

I actually really like this one (not a surprise: you are among the handful of people whose prompts make me all write-y), so on the list it goes!
