Internets, I SUCK and have 9k of summergen due TONIGHT.

My usual long-suffering and heroic beta is understandably unable to help me due to the SUPER-quick turnaround on this.

I think the story itself is sound, so I just need someone to go over it to make sure I haven't grossly abused the English language anywhere in it, and to point it out if I have.
