Title: Only the Next Moment
Summary: Time stamp to my previous fic, Of Old Time, Which Was Before Us. Sam takes care of Dean when he's sick.
Characters: Sam, Dean
Rating: PG-13
Wordcount: 1,511
Disclaimer: There must be SOME legal loophole that allows me to keep the boys tied up in my basement, I just know it! I haven't found it yet, alas.
Warnings: None. Just your basic h/c.
Neurotic Author's Note #1: If you haven't read the previous story, all you need to know is that Sam has permanent damage to his median temporal lobe. He has no memories of anything that happened in the series, and is unable to form new memories. The stories are all set post-S7, but Dean never went to Purgatory.
Neurotic Author's Note #2: This is unlikely to become a 'verse. Don't get your hopes up. :)
Neurotic Author's Note #3: Uh, actually, this was originally meant for [livejournal.com profile] hoodie_time's current curtain-fic mini-challenge, and it was a prompt from [livejournal.com profile] jackien1968. It turned out to be a fic that was a bit more about Sam with a lot of bonus sick!Dean, so I'm posting it now and I'll post the other Dean-centric stuff to the comm next week as planned. Yes, I'm writing again. I'm excited!

Title: Just A Broken Lullaby
Summary: When a mission goes wrong, the Avengers find themselves the unlikely guardians of a six-year-old Tony Stark.
Characters: Steve, Tony, all the Avengers, Pepper Potts, Phil Coulson, with guest appearances by Hank Pym and Reed Richards.
Rating: PG-13
Wordcount: 20,095
Disclaimer: Oh, please, nice lawyers at Marvel, please don't sue me! I swear I put all the toys right back where I found them!
Warnings: Brief comic-book violence, and tooth-rotting levels of schmoop. I am not even kidding.
Neurotic Author's Note #1: So this has been languishing on my hard drive practically since I saw the movie. It has been through countless revisions and rewrites and tweaking and poking and prodding until I can't look at it without going crosseyed. So, here it is, in all its unbeta'd glory. Technically this story isn't divided into chapters, but LJ posting lengths still suck, so you're getting it split up.
Neurotic Author's Note #2: Um, I have no excuse for this. It is unashamed idfic, schmoopy kidfic at its best and worst, with extra schmoop thrown in for good measure, because I really wanted a story about wee!Tony following Steve around and pestering him to hold his shield. Yeah, I got nothing. /o\
Neurotic Author's Note #3: I kind of intimated in the story that Tony & Pepper are no longer together. Or if they are, at least, that it's not exactly a conventional sort of romance. IDK, Tony doesn't like to define relationships, okay? Also, there are hints of the beginnings of Tony/Steve, in the brief moments when they're both at the age of consent. But, really, this can all be read as gen, or as being Tony/Pepper outside of the events of the story. That's not what the story is about.
Neurotic Author's Note #4: This story would not be what it is but for the constant coaxing/cajoling/bullying/threatening of the usual suspects: [livejournal.com profile] rainylemons and in particular, who were very patient and listened to me whine and kvetch about it, and to everyone on Twitter who also put up with my constant complaining. Thank you, guys, you're the best!
Neurotic Author's Note #5:
The lullaby in this story is a famous one, written by Mikhaïl Iourievitch Lermontov, and is known as the Cossack Lullaby. This is a rendition of it that I rather like, if you're interested. My apologies to any Russian speakers if I have unwittingly butchered your language or its transcription. I don't actually speak the language at all. Feel free to correct me in comments/messages if you spot any errors.

Title: If I Die Before I Wake…
Prompt: Written for [livejournal.com profile] spn_summergen, for [livejournal.com profile] faithburke's prompt Sam always knew he had a mother right next to him. He never realized she was dead. This story… isn't quite that, but I hope it comes close enough.
Characters: Sam, Dean, John, Mary
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Canonical Character Death. Major Character Death.
Neurotic Author's Note: I would like to thank the indefatigable [livejournal.com profile] rainylemons, without whom this fic would not be possible. She held my hand the entire way and didn't let me freak out when I started over what felt like a million times. I'd like to thank her and [livejournal.com profile] yasminke for betaing the crap out of this thing, and turning it into a much better story in the process. I of course tweaked it after they were done, so all remaining mistakes are mine.

Title: The Burning Bridge
Summary: Written for [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang. Season 6 AU. With no end in sight on their quest to restore Sam's soul or to figure out just what Crowley is up to in his search for Purgatory, Sam and Dean break off in order to investigate a string of mysterious deaths in which the victims exhibited all the signs of radiation poisoning with no apparent cause before their deaths. The case takes a darker turn, however, when soon after they begin investigating Sam begins to exhibit the same symptoms as the victims. Suddenly Dean finds himself facing the disturbing dilemma of whether it might not be easier to let go of this empty-shell version of his brother and simply let the illness take its course...
Artist: The brilliant and awesomely talented [livejournal.com profile] tripoli
Link to Art: http://tripoli.livejournal.com/492758.html
Characters: Dean, Sam, Cas, Bobby, OCs
Rating: PG-13
Wordcount: 21,403
Disclaimer: All recognizable belongs to the CW.
Warnings: Levels of violence commensurate with the show.
Neurotic Author's Note #1: There are several people to thank for this! First off, my fantastically talented artist, [livejournal.com profile] tripoli, who illustrated this story in such an imaginative way. I am in awe, because she touched on all the important notes of the story in incredibly creative ways that would never even have occurred to me. There's also [livejournal.com profile] rainylemons, who not only beta'd the crap out of this story, but did the usual hand-holding she always does when I wailed unendingly to her about my writing, and once again served as my own personal medical encyclopedia without ever once complaining or balking. I love you, darling! Any mistakes concerning the subject matter found herein should of course be attributed to my lack of understanding, and any remaining grammar/spelling/syntactical mishaps are also all mine. And last but not least, [livejournal.com profile] wendy and [livejournal.com profile] thehighwaywoman for the herculean task of running the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang.
Neurotic Author's Note #2: So this fic has gone through about a million permutations before it ended up here. A long, long time ago, there were conversations with a few people, [livejournal.com profile] de_nugis included, about a story about Sam with radiation poisoning. I kept meaning to write it, and even signed up for a prompt by poor [livejournal.com profile] shangrilada in order to try to get this done, but it never happened. Instead, I started writing it for the [livejournal.com profile] hc_bigbang, but when that challenge didn't work out, I gave myself one last push in order to get it done for the main Big Bang, and here it is!
Neurotic Author's Note #3: Okay, confession time. This story is actually a shameless fix-it attempt on my part. No, seriously, this is the story in which I attempt to fix ALL the things about S6, and a couple of earlier things too. Yeah, I got nothing. On a purely storytelling front, this was a surprisingly difficult story to write, mostly because Soulless!Sam was and continues to be a bit of a mystery to me. That being said, I am quite pleased with how it turned out, in the end. I hope you'll all enjoy it!

Title: Pressure Point
Prompt/Summary: Tony gets a migraine. Luckily for him, both JARVIS and Steve are there.
Characters: Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, JARVIS
Rating: PG-13
Wordcount: 3,311
Disclaimer: Oh God, Marvel, please don't sue me! *hides*
Warnings: Emetophobes may want to give this one a pass.
Neurotic Author's Note: I actually have a handful of unfinished Avengers fic on my hard drive. It figures that the migraine!fic is the first to see the light of day. Maybe I'll get around to posting the rest of it, eventually.

Title: Of Old Time, Which Was Before Us
Summary: Sam messes up his brain one too many times. The boys cope, more or less.
Characters: Dean, Sam
Rating: PG13
Wordcount: 4,857
Disclaimer: It all still belongs to the CW
Warnings: Swearing, nothing much more
Neurotic Author's Note #1: So somewhere last night I got bitten hard by this random plot bunny. I decided to sleep on it since I have other things I needed to be writing, but it refused to let go, so I wrote it in order to get back to those other things. Here it is.
Neurotic Author's Note #2: Title is taken from Ecclesiastes 1:9. Nothing like a little Old Testament to make this really feel like Supernatural, am I right? :P

Title: But World Enough, and Time
Summary: Written for [livejournal.com profile] tailoredshirt for the [profile] h50_exchange. When Steve meets Kono, he is twenty-eight and she is twenty. He has never met her before. Kono has known him since she was six years old. Or, the H50 retelling of The Time Traveler's Wife.
Characters: Steve/Kono, with most of the show characters and a few OCs.
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Violence, swearing, gore. References to off-screen attempted rape. Also Major character death that's not entirely permanent.
Word Count: 41,284
Disclaimer: .
Neurotic Author's Note #1: When I agreed to do a pinch-hit, I didn't quite realise how hard this bunny would bite. [livejournal.com profile] tailoredshirt expressed an interest in time travel, and challenged whoever got her prompt to not only write Steve/Kono, but to write them as more than just a hot sex pairing, and thus this story was born. I wish I had another three months to write it, but I fear even then I wouldn't be able to do it justice. Audrey Niffeneger I am not. ;)
Neurotic Author's Note #2: I must take this moment to note that I am an ASS who lacks reading comprehension skills, and apologize to [livejournal.com profile] tailoredshirt for writing something that she'll probably never be able to read. >_< I will make it up to you, I swear!
Neurotic Author's Note #3: I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the mods of this exchange who put up with my being extremely late with this pinch-hit and for misreading my prompt a whole lot and not realizing it until it was too late. They have put so much work into this exchange, and I am truly, truly grateful that they didn't smack me with a dead fish for making their work that much harder. Hopefully the end product will make up for my being so high-maintenance. Thank you, guys, for making this whole experience so grand!
