Anyone interested?
Oct. 10th, 2010 08:52 amSo someone on ff.net pinged me about this, and I am halfway tempted. Some of you may know that I'm currently training (or trying to train) to become an RCMP officer. My main problem is that my endurance running SUCKS. So this seems like a pretty good way to kill three or four birds with one stone.
The idea is to sign up to run a 5km race by next June, and to raise money for it. Since it's ALSO a fandom thing, there would be a fanwork up for auction as well.
If I offered a 5K fic to go along with the run (I'd be raising money for breast cancer research, which has always been my charity of choice, or failing that for cancer research in general), would anyone be interested? Choice of prompt would go either to the top donor or else drawn at random from the top donors if there's a tie.
