So [livejournal.com profile] fandom_flood_ap is at it again, and this time I am offering one story (2,000 words minimum), to help raise money for the victims of the floods (and other floods, and more flooding, and further natural disasters, and can we all say "Oy, vey!").

Click on the 'roos for my thread. :)

Bidding starts on March 14th!

Hallo all!

This is a reminder that I have several charity auctions going on at the moment. One fic and one podfic for [livejournal.com profile] fandom_flood_ap, and one fic for [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011.

Australia:

BIDDING FOR [livejournal.com profile] fandom_flood_ap STOPS IN 6 DAYS!

Click on the 'roos for a link to my fic offer.

This is not [livejournal.com profile] qldfloodauction, FYI, but another comm run by my friends [livejournal.com profile] yasminke and [livejournal.com profile] charis_kalos. It's a small comm, but the money still goes to charity and hopefully it will get more traffic soon. :)

I am offering up a podfic as well. Please click on the Major Mitchells Cockatoo for a link to my thread.

For [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011, click on the image below. Same deal as above: 2,000 words minimum to the highest bidder.

Okay, everywhere in the universe is flooding, so I'm actually participating in two charity auctions. As soon as [livejournal.com profile] fandom_flood_ap updates, I will be offering up a podfic there, and I am ALSO offering up a fic at [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011.

You can see all the details in my original post.

Same rules as usual apply. :)

So I'm offering up a fic at [livejournal.com profile] fandom_flood_ap. Click on the 'roos to find my thread! (Although it's the first one in the entry, so it's not too hard to locate).

I am ALSO offering a fic at [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011, because EVERYWHERE is flooding these days! Holy crap. Same deal as the above.

So someone on ff.net pinged me about this, and I am halfway tempted. Some of you may know that I'm currently training (or trying to train) to become an RCMP officer. My main problem is that my endurance running SUCKS. So this seems like a pretty good way to kill three or four birds with one stone.

fandom 5k

The idea is to sign up to run a 5km race by next June, and to raise money for it. Since it's ALSO a fandom thing, there would be a fanwork up for auction as well.

If I offered a 5K fic to go along with the run (I'd be raising money for breast cancer research, which has always been my charity of choice, or failing that for cancer research in general), would anyone be interested? Choice of prompt would go either to the top donor or else drawn at random from the top donors if there's a tie.

Title: Privilege of Choice
Prompt/Summary: This is my long-overdue [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan fic, for the very very patient [livejournal.com profile] inyron. She wanted a scenario in which John was forced to choose between his children.
Characters: John, Sam, Dean
Rating: PG13
Wordcount: 8,619
Disclaimer: I tried to negotiate them away from Sera, but she had this death-grip on Sam and she kind of snarled at me, so I backed off.
Warnings: No major warnings, no spoilers. Pre-series, teen!chesters.
Neurotic Author's Note #1: This one was a beast to write. I've never really understood John to my satisfaction, and I'm not sure I did him justice. I think he was a man caught in an impossible situation who was forced to compromise so many of his principles that, in the end, he no longer recognized himself. I may try to write him more, if only to try again to wrap my head around him. [livejournal.com profile] inyron, I am so sorry this was late!
Neurotic Author's Note #2: Because this was so late, I decided to post it unbeta'd. Please be forgiving if you find any massive errors, 'kay?

Writing is hard!

I am late on my [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan fic, because I decided to write a John POV and it's HARD. Gah. John is a MYSTERY to me and I live in stark, drooling admiration of writers who can wrap their minds around him. Also, wee!chester fic is not my forte. I can do it, but it's not my preferred playground.

Yay, challenges.

Okay, folks! Bidding for [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan has been extended to tomorrow. Now's your chance to bid either on me or any of the other lovely fanfic/fanvidders/fanartists/podficcers/sundry who are offering up their time and talent for the cause.

My thread, just in case.

Bidding ends in two days, so I thought I would post a helpful reminder that I'm offering a fic up for grabs!

Mind you, all you awesome folks have already offered waaaaay more money than I was expecting (have I mentioned how awesome you are?), so it's all good, but you never know!

Okay, it's a good cause, folks! This is the first time I've felt confident enough in my abilities to offer up something for charity, so here we go.

So I'm offering a fic, minimum 1,000 words. Click on the butterfly to go to my thread!
